Competitive Analysis problem: who are the leading competitors and substitutes, and how do they compare?
We conducted three SWOT analyses to consider positive (strengths and opportunities) and negative (weaknesses and threats) attributes of other organizations in the HIV/AIDS education space. We chose to focus on various spheres that overlap with TeachAIDS’ work, particularly:
● Global: What campaigns and programs are operating at an international scale, and what might the TeachAIDS team gain from them in regards to scalability and awareness?
● Country-wide: What efforts are being conducted that appropriately address regional and national concerns (and treat them both sensitively and seriously)?
● Local: How does peer influence at local levels perpetuate myths about the spread of HIV/AIDS, and how do the propagators of misinformation succeed in spreading their messages?
